Description: Our largest room located on the main floor, where history combines with comfort and elegance. Botticelli features a bed built in post-Renaissance Italy – circa mid-1700 -- resting on a Persian carpet and a corner cupboard of the same date. The mahogany bed is larger than a Queen but smaller than a King, and offers high quality Italian linen. Botticelli also has a private entrance from the front garden past your own outdoor private sitting area. The bathroom vanity is set in a granite-topped Louis XIV styled table, smaller versions of which make up the night tables. The bathroom features a claw tub and a separate walk-in glass-enclosed fully tiled shower stall with a rain-shower and a heated towel rack, all surrounded by specially chosen tiles that climb up the wall. A lazy flame gas fireplace, a flatpanel TV, a mini fridge, a coffee-tea maker, a reading-relaxing corner with sofa chairs, floor to ceiling windows with paneled shutters that operate individually, lampshades and old oil paintings from Italy, an antique Italian mirror, complete the room, named after the Renaissance painter noted for his Birth of Venus that hangs at the Uffizi Gallery in Firenze (Florence).
